The date for the second annual Bill Hoover Memorial Quizzo tournament has been set…The tournament will be held at the Hotel Edison in Sunbury on Monday, July 20th at 8:00 PM.  There will be an entry fee that has yet to be set (last year it was $5 per person…This year we might ask for a little more so that we can increase the prizes for the winning teams)…Last year we had 40 teams and raised over $5,000 dollars for my uncle’s scholarship fund…We want to top that number this year!…For those of you that didn’t take part last year, Bill Hoover was my uncle…He was an amazing man that fought cancer for well over three years…I loved him very much and he is still greatly missed…This scholarship is the brainchild of my cousin Angie, his daughter, as a way to honor and remember what a great father, grandfather, brother, uncle, teacher and friend he was to so many people…More to come on this event soon, but if your July is looking open, please mark this date on your calendar…
