I can no longer say I am married to a girl in her 20’s…Happy birthday to the love of my life, Katie Lee Mackey, on her 30th birthday August 24th!

I have been a big fan of the whole Seth Rogen/Judd Apatow machine so far, but Pineapple Express?…Where should I start.  It seemed like a great idea, a stoner witnesses a murder and then him and his drug dealer buddy go on the run, the whole while wackiness ensues…Sounds funny, I’m in…The movie was two hours long, and herein lies the problem, the first hour was a comedy, I definitely laughed on more than one occasion, then somewhere around the hour, hour and fifteen mark it took a weird turn.  It was like walking into a different movie (funny thing is about this same time the movie took a turn down absurd lane the power went out in the theater) so it was really like watching two different movies, but with the same characters. It went from comedy to non-stop shooting and action (and not very good action). Every so often they tried to right the ship with a joke or interjection of “Red” (guy on the left of the movie poster) back into the plot, but it was too little to late…They had already lost me. Anyway, this was a big swing and a miss for me… I would suggest waiting until the DVD comes out and going to see The Dark Knight again…Let’s get this movie to the number one spot, it only needs about $150 million more to pass Titanic…Pineapple Express gets a two horseshoe mustache rating…
