Jon Mackey’s Quizzo

Someone commented tonight on how I “never ask questions about movies he has seen”…this got me to thinking about some of the best movies I have ever seen…The following are ten movies, in no particular order, that some day my son and I will watch together…here they are…

1. The Shawshank Redemption
2. Star Wars, Episode IV: A New Hope
3. The Entire Rocky Collection
4. Saving Private Ryan
5. American History X
6. 12 Angry Men (the original)
7. Raiders of the Lost Ark
8. Training Day
9. Good Will Hunting
10. Goodfellas

I hope this will start some debate on the site as to movies I have left off the list as “must sees”…register for my blog and let me know, maybe some of your favorite movies will be the subject of future trivia questions…

I would like to wish everyone out in Quizzo land a happy Thanksgiving…Apparently our fearless leader pardoned two turkeys this year…I can only imagine what the other turkey had to do for its pardon… “That’s right turkey, I said use the baster…uhh… hee, hee ,hee” …unfortunately for the turkeys they were both immediately sent to Iraq…Everyone have a great Thanksgiving and remember, when your great grandmother wakes up from her first nap and asks “is the parade over?”…Just tell her they had to stop it when Al Roker ate his microphone and passed out on Matt Lauer…

The Philosophy of Quizzo…As I See It

                                                               
The rules of Quizzo really come down to just one thing…DON”T CHEAT…with that being said, I can only put my trust in the people that show up and play each week that they won’t… I am only one man; there is only so much I can do on this front.  I understand that any time prizes are awarded the competitive nature of people comes out; as I am one of the most competitive people you will ever meet! Due to large crowds most places are very limited for space and I understand that seeing more than six people at a table can raise some suspicion; unfortunately sometimes there is no other option. What I ask is that people see the real “prize” of Quizzo…that of course being the time you get to spend and enjoy with your friends, family, co-workers or who ever it is you choose to play Quizzo with. With all of this being said, I want every one to know that I put allot of time into preparing forty questions that hopefully will challenge and entertain you each week. I am open to suggestions, so please sign up for my blog and leave me your feedback…I look forward to hearing from and seeing you all each week!
